Apple Pie for Breakfast, placed on the kitchen counter

Week 10 2021 in Food Photos

Week 10 2021 in March was the national Week zonder Vlees (meatless week), so we ate no meat. Except for the weekend when we had a weekend getaway for Yuri’s upcoming birthday. In week 9 most recipes came from Het Complete Pastaboek, this week most are from the Ovenbijbel.

For breakfast I prepared a savory bread pudding and for lunch I made apple pie for breakfast. Both recipes from the cookbook Ovenbijbel, and vegetarian. In the afternoon we checked in to the NH Hotel Schiphol Airport. Yuri’s birthday is on the 18th, since we couldn’t throw a party, we decided to stay at a hotel for a night. We got take out from Anak Blitar and ate it at our hotel room. We love getting food at this place when we’re in the area.

We had pancakes for breakfast and for dinner left overs. There’s an McDonald’s across the street from the NH hotel. We got our breakfast from there. Lunch was from a lunch place not that far from the hotel. After this we made our way home again and had left overs for dinner.

In this week I published 7 new blogs: Breakfast Mug Cake, Oatmealpizza with Grilled Eggplant and Anchovy, Melon-Coconut Juice, Broccoli with Coconut, No Bake Oreo Cheesecake, Review: Het Oude Tolhuys and Peach Dutch Baby.
