The first week of March was week 9 of 2021. We ended week 8 with a visit to the beach and spring weather, that luckily continued at the beginning of March. We ended this week at home, with a friend of Yuri staying over.
Week 9 2021
We started the week with a Pasta Salad with Thai Vegetables. Delicious and lots of veggies. We had our first delivery from Picnic. The recipe came from Het Complete Pastaboek I cooked a recipe out of several days this week.
This day we had Spaghetti with Creamy Lemon sauce, also from Het Complete Pastaboek. A cookbook full of delicious pasta recipes.
We ordered BurgerMe for dinner. Which is fast food, not special, but we like it.
For lunch we tried out a new place in our street: De Huismeesters. We had a pulled chicken bun and a Maubert brie 60+ bun. They were delicious. For dinner we had a Shrimpburger with cocktail sauce. This recipe comes from the cookbook Heerlijke Hamburgers.
We had left overs for dinner this day. Cleaning out the fridge, and making sure we don’t waste food.
A friend of Yuri stayed over and I made us spaghetti carbonara for dinner. This time I used a recipe from Het Complete Pastaboek. Paul went to the city center, to shop for some new shirts. We were still in lockdown at this point, so he had to make an appointment and could only come on his own.
We had pancakes for breakfast and for dinner left overs.
