Each week on Monday (okay, it’s Thursday, I’m a little late this week) I will show what we ate, did and cooked the week before. This first time it’s a little more than a week, since I’m starting on January 1st. So here’s week 1 2021.
Week 1 2021
We kicked the new year off with left-over oliebollen and beignets for breakfast. In the evening I made a beefsteak burger for us.
On Saturday I made is small cookiehouses, which we combined with a chai tea latte. For dinner we had takeout; Chinese. I had something planned for dinner, but just felt like getting Chinese. We spent the first 2 days of the year mostly with reading books.
I had a cooking day and made an oliebollencake for breakfast, waffles with avocado and salmon for lunch and a mixed rice salad. We had an easy day.
Online school started for Yuri and Paul and I started with work again after a break over New Year’s. We had fries for dinner.
It wasn’t an eventful week, , so not much to report outside that we had work and online school. I made lemon risotto for us. With fish and broccoli on the side.
I made a Christmas tree with chocolate cookies, with a set of cookie cutters in the shape of stars. I glued the cookies together with icing. For dinner we had beef sliders, Yuri picked this for dinner.
We had a clubburger, a simple meal. I layed out everything on the table and we made our own burger combination.
I was so busy with KarsTravels that Paul ordered Greek for us at Aphrodite, a good Greek restaurant in Lunetten.
We had a healthy breakfast casserole in the morning, visited my in-laws and then had BBQ Peri Peri Chicken Loaded Fries for dinner.
We ended the week with lunch at my parents and had a Cheeseburger Stuffed Pizza. Yuri picked what we had for dinner on Saturday and Sunday.
