Yuri saw a YouTube video from Twisted I was watching and picked 3 recipes from it, that he wanted to eat. This cheeseburger stuffed pizza was one of them. It was fun that he was immediately enthusiastic about something his mum was watching.
We usually have homemade pizza once a week. Yuri simply loves pizza. So expect more pizza recipes coming your way. It’s fun to make your own pizza from scratch. And then layer it with whatever you want.
The pizza is delicious, although definitely not healthy. The recipe was easy to follow from the video. Although I prefer a written down recipe. I didn’t have round pizza dough, so I used square instead. Regular cheddar used instead of red cheddar, not that much choice here.

Cheeseburger Stuffed Pizza
Allergies: Meat, gluten, wheat, garlic, tomatoes, cheese.
700 grams beef mince
¾ tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 pizza crusts
1 ½ cup cheddar
½ cup pizza sauce
150 grams bacon pieces
1 bag of mozzarella
Season the beef mince with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Turn it into one large patty, on a baking sheet. Fry the patty on both sides, until done inside.
Cover a pizza base with half the cheddar slices. Then place the patty on it and cover that with the rest of the cheddar slices. Place the second pizza base over it and seal the edges.
Cover the top with pizza sauce and top with bacon and mozzarella. Bake in a 200°C or 400°F preheated oven for 20 minutes.

- It’s greasy and salty, but delicious. Serve a salad on the side if you want to have some greens.
