Allergies: dates, fruit, almonds, cocoa
Our family loves smoothies, and I’ve made many already. Sadly, smoothies aren’t always the healthiest. In comes the Healthy Sinterklaas Smoothie: good for you and delicious. And completely ok for the season. When drinking this smoothie, accompany it with kruidnoten, gingerbreadmen, Dutch speculaas, Chocolate Kruidnoten with Cranberries and Hazelnuts or the speculaas pear pie. Otherwise it’s way too healthy 😉

The recipe I tested this time is from Bettyskitchen, a Dutch food blog.
We’re celebrating Sinterklaas early in our household, namely this evening! Since Yuri knows the thruth, we can be less precise with the date. So I’m taking the gourmet set out and we’re going to make a cozy evening of it with chocolate letters and lots of fun.
If you’re looking for a perfect drink for New Year’s, try this Mimosa.
Review
Paul and I liked this smoothie, but I found it a bit dry because of the banana. Next time I will use a bit less bananas. I used regular cocoa powder, not raw. I added 600 millimeters almond milk, from the 500 or 600 millimeters option. The recipe is easy to follow.
