We’re continuing with Thanksgiving recipes, this time a mashed potato casserole. It’s a delicious side dish that we all loved. It’s either perfect as a side dish or as a way to make up leftover mashed potatoes. We love trying Thanksgiving recipes, they’re new to us, since we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in the Netherlands.
To make a really delicious and creamy casserole, it’s not just potatoes that are in our casserole. Next to potatoes you will need salt, butter, cream cheese, sour cream, evaporated milk, black pepper, onion flakes, garlic powder, paprika powder and cheddar cheese. All these ingredients make sure this casserole is the perfect comfort food. The recipe is from the website The Southern Lady Cooks.
Other Thanksgiving recipes on the blog are Sweet Potato Pie Recipe, Baked Sweet Potato Casserole, Homemade Mac and Cheese and Green Bean Casserole with Bacon. This casserole would go perfect with these Spareribs.
Review
I followed the recipe. Only thing I changed is that I didn’t use Monterey Jack cheese, that brand is rare in the Netherlands.
