At Pacific Amsterdam at Westergas we sat down for gingerbeer, homemade iced tea and nachos. We visited the Fabrique des Lumières afterwards. It was beautiful. We loved standing and walking in the paintings of Klimt and Hundertwasser.

It was Mother’s Day. Yuri gave me Ferrero Rocher chocolates. In the afternoon the 3 of us had lunch at Se7en with a club sandwich uitsmijter, club sandwich chicken tandoori and pork belly. Then we went to Rabarber in the Zadelstraat in Utrecht. We had strawberry cheesecake and butter cake with blackberries and lemon. It was so delicious! Chai latte for Paul and me and a hot choc for Yuri. We also got some leftover pieces of butter cake and pecan pie. At last we sat in the sun on the terrace at Café Het Gegeven Paard with something to drink. We took home with us fries from Manneken Pis and burgers and a hotdog from Five Guys for dinner. Paul made us a limoncello spritz in the evening.

Mother’s Day was a day with sunny weather and the company of my two men.
