Don’t you just love to eat French fries at home? We do at our home. Usually we buy a bag of frozen fries to prepare in our deep-fryer, but making the fries ourselves is even yummier. There are so many delicious ways to serve potatoes, but fries is definitely one of my favorite ways.
Well how to make French fries? That’s not that hard. Peel and rinse the potatoes. Then pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut the potatoes in strips. Pat these dry again with a paper towel. Deep fry these and done. These French fries homemade are from the cookbook Heerlijke Hamburgers from Anne Wilson.

Review
Only made minor changes to the short recipe. Patted them dry a second time, instead of just the whole potatoes. Deep-fried them in our deep-fryer instead of in a pan with oil. I served them without salt.

Notes:
- Recipe source is the cookbook Heerlijke Hamburgers from Anne Wilson.
- Enough for 3 persons as a side dish.
- If you like, sprinkle the fries with salt before serving. Paul has high bloodpressure, so we try to not use a lot of salt.
- When you don’t have a deep-fryer, you can also deep fry the fries in a pan with oil. Fill a pan to the half with oil, heat the oil and fry the potatoes in that for 5 to 10 minutes.
