Cookies are the best and I love baking them. Cosette is Cookin’ will have cookies for sale, so I tested out a whole bunch. To see if they’re delicious and don’t crumble too fast. I gave and sent them to family and friends to test them out. From these and our own results I chose 5 different cookies.
Cookies for sale
White Chocolate Orange Cookies was almost unanimously loved by everyone. For some they were there absolute favorite. The cookie is well flavored with the orange and white chocolate. It’s not a cookie that crumbles instantly and is still delicious after a few days. It didn’t go stale after a day or two. So a perfect cookie to sell.
Pistachio Macarons were loved by the majority. It’s not the shape most people think of, when they think of a macaron. It’s not 2 cookies stuck together with cream, it’s just a single cookie. With ground pistachios instead of almonds, this is a cookie for the true pistachio lover. The cookie doesn’t break easily, has tons of flavor and lasts a couple of days.
Chocolate Almond & Cranberry Clusters was the absolute best for one, loved by most and disliked by one. They don’t crumble, they’re well flavored and remain good for days. The combination of dark chocolate , almonds, cranberries and a bit of sea salt is perfect.
Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies was a good cookie, liked but not loved by all. The cookie didn’t come out in the right shape, so broke easily. But without the Oreo cookie inside, I’m placing it on the sales page. So just a chocolate chip cookie.
Pistachio Pudding Cookies are the second pistachio cookie on the list. They didn’t crumble easy, are well flavored and remained good for days. A cookie with pistachio pudding powder in the dough.
Cookies that didn’t make the list
Seasoned Soft Pretzels didn’t make it since they went stale after 2 days. So not suited to mail to others. Cookies have to stay good longer than 1 day.
Soft Chocolate Cookies where really well flavored, but crumbled instantly. I don’t think I had a cookie that wasn’t broken. So not suited for selling.
Chocolate Turtle Cookies where liked by half the testers and disliked by the other half. We loved the combination of chocolate, caramel and salty pretzels, but they fell apart easily.
Vanilla Half Moons where again divided: half of the test panel loved them, the other half not. We liked them, but they fell apart easily.
Almond & Cranberry Makarons were good, but not super loved by all. They also stayed a little bit gooey, so less suited for selling.
