A simple, yet delicious cookie: White Chocolate Orange Cookies. Lots of people will love it, it isn’t just a favorite for a few. Don’t worry if you’re not a white chocolate lover. The white chocolate is present, but not overbearing. So is the orange peel, present but not too present. If you’re an orange lover and want your orange flavor to be overbearing, then I would add 150% of the orange peel.
Here in our house everybody loved the cookie, but then again my husband and son are white chocolate lovers. I handed out the cookie to family and friends. They all liked, and most even loved, the cookie, although not all are white chocolate fans. The recipe isn’t mine, it’s a recipe I tested, and is part of the series I have on the blog “every day a new recipe”. I test a new recipe every day, for years already, and this is the first I post on the blog. The recipe of this cookie is from the cookbook “500 koekjes” from Philippa Vanstone. It’s a translated book, the orginal title is “500 cookies”. You will hear this name more often on the blog, since there are so many delicious recipes in this cookbook.

This cookie is also for sale on the sales page. I sell cookies, which you can pick up or I’ll send them to you. Another delicious cookie with chocolate chips is the chocolate chip cookie. Review
The cookie is delicious. It had to go longer in my oven than the recipe said. It stated 8 till 10 minutes and they had to go in for 15 minutes. The recipe was easy to follow, no missing or unclear parts in the book. Suited to give away, the shape is alright. It doesn’t crumble after baking. It’s freezer friendly.
