So the update on week 4 2021 is a little bit late, but hopefully still fun to see what we ate that week. I made a few delicious recipes and at the end of the week we stayed at a hotel.
Week 4 2021
Paul loves lamb meat and on this day I made a lamb burger with feta. Which we all loved.
On Tuesday I made something from the magazine Feest from Uit Pauline’s Keuken, this time I made the pumpkin soup. With a baguette on the side.
This day we kept it really simple and Paul made fries and snacks for us (including a kroket) in the deep frying pan.
I made another recipe from the magazine Feest, namely a puff pastry strudel with red beets. The recipe was again delicious.
After a week of working from home and online school we went for a weekend getaway. It was my belated Birthday gift. We stayed 2 nights at Fletcher Hotel at Naaldwijk. With the current restrictions the hotel’s restaurant is closed and roomservice isn’t allowed. But takeout is! So we could collect our meals at the restaurant, take them to our rooms ourselves and eat them there. On Friday we all 3 had the lasagna, which we loved.
We took our breakfast in bags from the restaurant and enjoyed it in our room. Croissants, fresh buns and orange juice, it’s all delicious. We went for a walk on the beach, it was cold, so we had takeout split pea soup. We ordered some kibbeling (fried, braided cod) for lunch. Dinner we had again as takeout on our room. Paul had mustard soup and sirloin steak. Yuri had salmon and a dame blanche. I had bread and satay. We all loved our dinner.
We had another delicious takeout breakfast in our room and ended our stay with a takeout lunch from the hotel. In the evening I made us a salad.
