We’ve road tripped across the US several times and on one of our last trips we had a Thanksgiving like dinner, which included stuffing. This made me curious to make it at home, so I used an easy recipe for stuffing and prepared it at home. We loved this easy Thanksgiving stuffing recipe.
This easy Thanksgiving dressing recipe doesn’t contain meat, but there’s chicken stock in it. Besides chicken stock, you’ll also use poultry seasoning. Further seasoning is done with thyme and black pepper. Dried bread cubes are the basis to which you’ll add onion, garlic, mushrooms, celery and eggs for flavor and consistency. The easy Thanksgiving recipe I used comes from I Wash You Dry.
Other traditional Thanksgiving dishes are Baked Sweet Potato Casserole and Mac and Cheese. Another perfect side dish is Chicory with Egg Mimosa.
Review
The only thing I changed was that I left out the salt. With the use of salted butter and poultry seasoning, there was more than enough salt in the dish.
