Yesterday I published a salmon recipe that can be served with a dill mustard sauce. So here’s the recipe for mustard dill sauce for salmon. Salmon with dill mustard sauce is a perfect New Year’s Recipe, but it is delicious all year long. We loved this sauce in combination with salmon.
The recipe comes from the cookbook Sfeervol December from Sonja van de Rhoer. It’s a simple sauce to prepare, a cold sauce that can be whipped up in minutes. It’s a mix of vinegar, sugar, mustard, dill, sunflower oil, salt and pepper. You don’t need to heat it.
The sauce goes perfect with the Gravad Lax Recipe. It would also be perfect with the Pancake Rolls with Salmon. It will also go well with other fish recipes. The sauce would also be great with this Soybean Salad instead of the Pesto dressing.
Review
I prepared only a quarter of the original recipe, that was enough sauce for the gravid lax. We loved the sauce.
