These grilled cheese sticks are so cute and delicious. They are perfect to serve with Homemade Tomato Soup, which is what we did. Paul prepared these easy cheese soup sticks. He shaped them in the shape of the cane of Sinterklaas since we had them in that season. But these grilled cheese dippers can be served all year long, and don’t necessarily have to be shaped like a cane.
The recipe for the cheese breadsticks is from the Allerhande website and it only requires 4 ingredients. You’ll need puff pastry, an egg, grated cheese and sesame seeds. It takes about 10 minutes and another 10 minutes in the oven. Kids can help or make them on their own.
Other delicious Sinterklaas recipes are the Apricot Puff Pastry Letter and Kruidnoten Tiramisu.
Review
Paul changed nothing in the ingredients or the recipe. So perfect as is.
